By downloading, installing, or browsing Desk Dangle (the "App") or its website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the software or website.
2. License to Use
We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to download, install, and enjoy Desk Dangle on your personal and commercial workstation devices across macOS and Windows. You may not sell, rent, or repackage Desk Dangle as paid commercial software without prior written consent from the author.
3. User-Uploaded Images & Sole Legal Responsibility
Desk Dangle provides features that allow you to import, select, test, or display custom user images (e.g., photos of your pets, custom memes, artwork, or downloaded PNG graphics) on your desktop and in the website sandbox:
- User Sole Responsibility: Any image, photograph, graphic, or artwork that you load, upload, configure, or display in Desk Dangle or on this website is entirely and exclusively your own legal responsibility.
- Intellectual Property & Ownership: You retain 100% full ownership and intellectual property rights to your personal images. Desk Dangle never claims any rights or title to user content, and processes all files strictly locally on your machine.
- Lawful Content & Copyright Compliance: You represent and warrant that you own all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use any image you load, and that your content does not infringe upon any third-party copyright, trademark, moral right, privacy right, or publicity right, nor violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Desk Dangle, its creator (Riyaz), and any contributors from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from your selection, use, or display of user-provided images.
4. Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to inject malicious code into distributed copies of Desk Dangle, distribute malware disguised as the application, or use Desk Dangle to harass, infringe upon, or violate the safety of any individual.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Desk Dangle is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. While we take immense pride in crafting stable, performant software, we do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every possible hardware configuration.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the creator (Riyaz) and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms periodically. Continued use of Desk Dangle following any revisions indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
